Tume
Vega MiniTill takes it’s place in the Tume seed drill range between the
models JC and Nova Combi. In the design of the Vega MiniTill series,
special attention has been paid in the compatibility in minimum tillage
conditions, because this method is fast gaining success, while
conventional ploughing is losing share at the same time.
The new Vega has been dimensioned for large annual acreages. The main
strong points in the construction are long life cycle, reliability and
high performance, without forgetting the high precision of sowing
itself. Wide range of optional equipment offers good opportunities for
tailoring according to customer’s needs.
Vega can be equipped with the ingenious Tume CultiPack intermediate
disc harrow, which enables simultaneous minimum cultivation, fertilizer
placement and sowing as one pass operation.
New coulter system
Vega has separate coulters for fertilizer and seed. Both coulters are of single disc type, equipped with large, serrated discs with robust bearings to ensure safe rotation. The seed coulters are fixed in strong arms in order to stand the maximum coulter pressure 50 kp, which is sufficient for all minimum tillage conditions. The coulter pressure can be adjusted hydraulically. In order to limit the seed depth on light soils and shallow sowing, the discs are equipped with depth limiting sideplates, that can be removed or changed to another plate with different profile, if necessary.
Extra large hoppers
Thanks to the hopper size, it is possible to sow 5-7 hectares withour re-filling! The hopper volume of a 3m Vega is 4000 litres ja in 4m Vega 5600 litres. The partition wall between the fertilizer and seed hoppers is adjustable, which enables to optimize the ratio between the two hopper volumes. This is a great benefit, for example, in sowing rape or other small seeds, or when the use of chemical fertilizers is low, and slurry or manure is mainly used instead.
The support wheel system familiar from Nova Combi
Vega has the same brilliant support wheel system that can also be found in Nova Combi. Every pair of wheels has a hydraulic suspension and the wheel system follows the contours of the ground, giving an even ground pressure on the whole working width. The support wheels are large. They last long even in very stony conditions and roll easy on any soil type.
Small transport width makes it easier on the roads
The transport width of Vega is the same as the working width. You can easily and safely keep Your own lane with a 3m Vega! Because of the unique wheel suspension, the weight is divided on all support wheels, which minimizes the risk of overloading individual tyres.
